Upcoming ReBuilding Center Volunteer Opportunities

Are you searching for a fulfilling volunteer opportunity? Look no further. This year's ReBuilding Center Day of Service falls on September 9th!

Every year, the ReBuilding Center teams up with the African American Alliance for Homeownership to perform critical home maintenance and repairs for up to ten homeowners living with low incomes in North and Northeast Portland. Groups and individual volunteers are welcome!

The ReBuilding Center generally takes on projects like carpentry, painting, small electrical (switch replacements, ceiling fan installation, etc.), yard maintenance, fence mending/building, and minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacements.

No experience in home repair or carpentry needed, but if you've got some skills, make them known! The ReBuilding Center is always seeking skilled tradespeople to lead their volunteer teams.
