What is Urban Gleaners?


Urban Gleaners is a locally-based non-profit organization that collects delicious, fresh food from a growing roster of donor restaurants, grocery stores, corporate campuses, event sites, colleges and universities, farms, and food wholesalers. Once in hand, they sort the food into family-sized portions, then distribute it to over 35 locations in the Portland Metro area.

How You Can Help

What's so inspiring about Urban Gleaners' approach is knowing that when we all work together, we can help end hunger in our community. There is so much great, healthy food right here in the Portland Metro area! Together we can feed hungry children and their families and make our whole community healthier.
