Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East

The work they do to create affordable housing opportunities for our community is vital. While volunteering in person is not an option right now, there are still ways in which all of us can show them some love.

You can donate lightly used furniture, appliances, flooring, home goods and so much more through their ReStore locations. The funds generated from the sale of these items help enable Habitat Portland/Metro East, Habitat Willamette West and Habitat Evergreen to build affordable housing for low-income families. Shop in-store, and online! They have some really cool finds!

Meat Cheese Bread

Meat Cheese Bread is a sandwich shop located in southeast Portland. They focus on using fresh, local products and are open for breakfast and lunch.

When COVID hit, Meat Cheese Bread went above and beyond to support the community by teaming up with other local restaurants to feed those in need through Stone Soup.

We're a big fan of their B.L.T. and for dessert, a peanut butter rice crispy treat, but you can't go wrong with any sandwich on the menu!
